A Corner That Doesn’t Ask Questions

You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

I don’t need a perfect room,
just a corner that doesn’t ask questions.
A chair that lets me sit with my thoughts
long enough for them to stop pretending.
Light that doesn’t rush me.
Silence that knows when to stay.
This is where I read slowly,
where words stretch their legs,
where writing starts rough
and earns its clarity.
No ceremony.
No performance.
Just a place honest enough
to let me be.
